Megan Bieraugle

Megan is a current Supervising Archaeologist and soon-to-be Field Director. She is a PhD candidate in Zooarchaeology and her project is aimed at exploring the relationships between Indigenous people and dogs in the Canadian plains. Much of her work is methods based, to help us better understand the life histories of canids. Megan’s background stems from a BSc in Environmental Science at Concordia University of Edmonton, followed by an MSc in Environmental Archaeology and Palaeoeconomy from the University of Sheffield. Megan has been involved in CRM for the last 4 years and is eager to get back into the field! She enjoys all things outdoors, all animals, and played volleyball throughout her childhood and university years.
